Lok
Sabha polls are a few months away. However, the real action always
takes in the run-up to these elections. And many of our actors too have taken
a liking to it. And the latest to do so is comedian Jaspal
Bhatti. At
a special gathering in Chandigarh, Bhatti declared his Prime Ministerial ambition
by contesting in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. He’s forming his own party called
the ‘Recession party.’
So, what’s up with this name? Bhatti replies,
“As you are all aware recession is the word that is beating across the world.
That’s when a bunch of jobless actors like me decided to come together and enter
politics. After all, in the current crisis, politics serves as the best career
option. Besides, I won’t have to spend a single penny from my pocket.”
So, what’s the agenda of the Recession party? “Apart from
overcoming our own financial crisis, we intend to create more and more slums.
They will not only serve as my vote banks but also enable us to get more Oscars,”
the actor sighs. Well, Mr.Bhatti surely has our vote.
