Ridhi, who has previously worked in DJ"s Jhoome Jiya Re and also anchored Planet Bollywood on Zoom is very excited about her role in Hindi Hai Hum on Real.

So what is so special about Hindi Hai Hum? Responds Ridhi, "I guess it is the story and the concept. We have this view in every nook and corner of our society that English is a language that should be known by everyone. If you cannot talk in English you are not happening. So here comes Babli who thinks that English is a fool's language! She belongs to a small town and takes everything very sportingly. But her mother thinks differently and takes her to a city where she enrolls Babli in a spoken English academy headed by Benjamin Gilani!" The story revolves around how Babli will change everyone's life in the school.

How did you bag this role? "I got to know that Swastik Pictures were auditioning for Babli's role in Hindi Hai Hum and I went for the auditions. I passed the look test and then the auditions and before I knew what was happening, I was selected for the role," says the girl from Delhi. In the coming days, a budding relation will also be shown between her and Karan Hukku. Says Ridhi, "he (Karan) had rejected the proposal for marriage with me while in my village, and the creative team is working on the track right now and finding the best way to develop it," says the actress who strongly believes that working on a comedy is very tough. "But I am ready to face the challenge," says the pretty girl who is enjoying her time with the cast and crew of Hindi Hai Hum.
