Jade Goody, who succumbed to cancer on Sunday, will be buried on 4 April.

Goody breathed her last at her Essex home and will be buried in a nearby church. A family spokesman was quoted in a UK daily.

The funeral procession, which is expected to be attended by thousands, is set to leave her home in Upshire at noon, making its way to St John's Baptist Church via Loughton.

Meanwhile Goody's husband, Jack Tweed could be in jail during her funeral as he is to be sentenced on Thursday after being convicted of assaulting a taxi driver under the influence of alcohol.

Goody, 27, is survived by her husband Jack Tweed and two sons Bobby and Freddie.
