| Reality
shows have multiplied by millions but most of them have become monotonous in nature.
Whenever a new reality show comes up, the makers boast how different their show
is from the rest. However, when the action begins, what the viewers get to see
is the same old thing. But
this time the viewers may be in for a surprise. They will now get to see a different
genre of music in a reality show. And to add to that it will also bring peace
of mind and take you closer to God, claim sources.
Perhaps,
for the first time ever, we have a singing reality show for bhajan singers. It’s
called Bhajan Samrat. And judging it will be legendary bhajan singer
Anup Jalota, who makes his debut as a reality show judge. Anuradha Paudwal is
tipped to be the other judge. Contliloe Films is producing Bhajan Samrat
for NDTV Imagine. However, Conitloe head Abhimanyu
Singh vehemently denied producing any such show for the channel.
We called Jalota but he refused to comment. However, a source close to
the singer says, “Anup ji is judging Bhajan Samrat. The show is
likely to commence after the Indian Premier League. It’s a weekly show that will
air every
Sunday. From what I’ve learnt Anuradha Paudwal is the other judge.” Meanwhile,
Anurada Paudwal had this to say, “Yes, I had received the offer some time back.
However, before I could give a reply, I had to travel outside the country. I’ve
just comeback and am waiting for their call. Thus far they haven’t reverted to
me. So, I really cannot say whether I’m in it or not.” In these
troubled times it surely is the right time for some peace of mind.
