When Prabhu Deva danced and Neil Nitin sang

It was like a dream come true for the participants of Zee’s Dance India Dance when the show was graced by India’s rubber-man Prabhu Deva. But the catch was that the legendary dancer himself expressed his desire to come on the show. The ace dancer himself came on the sets of the show in an episode which also will be graced by current heartthrob Neil Nitin Mukesh.

Prabhu, who came down from Chennai especially for the shoot, burned the dance floor on one of his most unusual choreography, Main aisa kyun hoon (Lakshya). Not only this, he and Mithun Da simply enthralled the audience with their jig on the Tamil version of Disco Dancer which Prabhu had choreographed when the movie was made in Tamil.

It’s a lesser known fact that before Prabhudeva became the much sought after choreographer and now a famous director, he was a background dancer. Prabhu recounted the number of times he had woken up from his sleep and practiced dance steps in the middle of the night to avoid the chance of forgetting them!

But the icing on the cake was Neil’s impromptu crooning and grooving on the title track of his upcoming flick Aa Dekhe Zara. Along with this he also impressed all and sundry with his flawless anchoring though for a while.
