It’s official. Sphere Origin’s Grihasthi is all set to end in March. The show will wind up on March 27. Grihasthi is the story of seven women of the Khurana household and the challenges they have to face when they lose the protection and security of the sole male member of their family. The story depicts the struggle of women in a male dominated society.

Informs a source from the production house, “The show is ending on March 27. The show has been successfully running for the past one year.”

When contacted, producer Sunjoy Wadhwa said, “The show is ending by the end of March. The date given to us as of now is March 27.”

When asked about the reason behind the end, producer says, “There is no reason in particular. The show has run its due course. It had aired over 300 episodes and it had to end.”
