Shilpa Shukla, the envious hockey team member from the blockbuster Chak De! India is one versatile girl. She is participating in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 and at the same time she is playing the protagonist in Anurag Kashyap’s Rajuben in Sony’s Specials @ 10. Rajuben is about Rajshree’s journey, who being a daughter of a Gandhi fundamentalist strays from his disciplinarian parentage and gets emotionally involved with Rohit, an underworld upstart, and goes to lead an entire gang in underworld. From shaking a leg to shooting people, it’s a vast gamut of emotions that Shilpa will be seen portraying on the small screen… but this definitely does not drain Shilpa. She believes that this role of Rajuben was meant only for her…. more so when Anurag Kashyap called her and said that Rajuben cannot be played by anyone else but Shilpa Shukla.
