Slumdog Millionaire has ushered in a new lease of hope for most of the people who worked in the film including the seasoned Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. After reports of him hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati, it is now heard that the actor is set to act in the popular American television show ‘24’. This will be Kapoor’s debut on international TV. The show airs on FOX.

As per reports published in a tabloid, the new season of 24 begins in April and May and Kapoor will be part of the season. One of Kapoor’s friends has reportedly stated that the actor is very keen to be part of the show.

24 is an American serial action drama television series. 24 is presented in real time, with each season depicting a 24-hour period in the life of Jack Bauer, who works with the U.S. government as it fights domestic threats. Bauer is often in the field for the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit as they try to safeguard the nation from terrorist threats.

As Kapoor joins the elite list of actors like Kabir Bedi, Dalip Tahil, Shilpa Shetty to make it to the international TV circuit it is indeed a big moment. Guess the numerical ‘24’ is lucky for the actor as it is also his birth date.
