Pallavi Rao is an actress working in Hindi, Malayalam and other regional languages. She made her movie debut with the film Parasparam , a Malayalam movie which released in 1980s. It stared Zarina Wahab and Venu Nagavally in lead roles. The movie, a family drama, was an average success but fetched the actress much recognition thanks to which she bagged more roles from films and serials. She has worked in Hindi serials with accomplished actors namely Aruna Irani, Suhasi Goradia Dami and Sakshi Talwar. Pallavi has been active in Malayalam TV serials like Punarvivaham and other language serials like Mahabharata and Akash Deep. In her acting career spanning over two decades, Pallavi has played lead roles in many TV serials. Her recent noted work came in the show Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus. The serial’s sequel has been announced and she is working in too. She was seen in the kids’ show Shakalaka Boom Boom. She played key role in the show Fear Files and Koi Aane Ko Hain.
