MUMBAI : SS Rajamouli set a benchmark with his Pan-India movie Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The movies gave us our first Pan-India star Prabhas who received immense love not just for his acting skills in Baahubali and its second instalment but also for all the movies that came after that as he garnered fans from the Hindi movie lovers too.

Be it the Baahubali series, Saaho, or the recently released global blockbuster 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire', his global popularity keeps on rising with the sensational blockbusters. Baahubali, SS Rajamouli and Prabhas are inseparable it seems, especially for the kids who love Prabhas a lot.

Well this time, SS Rajamouli is coming with a special surprise for the kids by bringing a an animated OTT series which will be available to stream from May 17th this year on Disney Plus Hotstar.

In a conversation with SS Rajamouli, the director revealed he made Bahubali Crown Of Blood, the prequel to Baahubali to challenge western monopoly on franchises and break filmmaking norms in India

SS Rajamouli said, “For a long time I’ve nurtured the thought of making an animation film and whether its Eega that I made, small part which is animated or when I’m associated with Sharad and Hotstar, all those things are for me to learn how these things are working. So it helps me to develop my skills to make a film one day.”
