MUMBAI : Zee TV’s upcoming show Main Hoon Saath Tere is set to take its viewers through the journey of a single mother, Janvi (Ulka Gupta), underlining the numerous challenges a mother has to take on while doubling up as a parent. Based in Gwalior, Janvi lives with her son, Kian (Nihan Jain), who is the nucleus of her world.  Despite their strong bond, Kian feels the void of a man in the house, but more from his mother’s point of view as he sees her managing everything alone. The plot thickens when Janvi crosses paths with an affluent businessman Aryaman and the two end up working under the same roof. As Aryaman expresses interest in Janvi, will Kian approve of the match and play a role in bringing his single mother closer to the man who loves her …?

Adding to the excitement around the show, renowned television actor Ali Hassan has been roped in to play an interesting part in the show. He will be seen playing the hero  Aryaman’s father, Brij Pratap Singh Bundela. He is a 60-year-old hotelier and successful businessman. With how life has panned out between the two, Brij bears strong resentments towards Aryaman. Even though Aryaman wants to bridge the gap between him and his father, Brij’s daughter Raina(Mansi Srivastava) always finds a way to turn him against Aryaman. In fact, his presence is anticipated to introduce numerous unexpected twists and turns in the show.  Ali is also very excited about the new and modern look that he has been given for the show. 

Ali Hassan said, "I feel great to join the cast of Main Hoon Saath Tere, and my character Brij will bring in lots of ups and downs in Aryaman and Janvi’s life. Portraying this character is very new for me since it is about a complex, layered father-son bond. My look is also very different in this show, viewers will see me with long hair, a man bun and white beard for the first time. I'm ready to dive into this journey and give it my all! My fans have always loved me for my differentiated characters, I hope they will shower their love and blessings on this one too.”

While Ali is very excited about this role, it will be interesting for the viewers to watch an innocent take on love, life, and relationships, which is all set to unfold.
