Ye ninth class mein thi, mein eleventh class mein tha. Toh vohi hota hain pratham drishti prem (love at first sight) ki dekhte he laga ki ab aage ka jeevan matlab toh vaisey he hogaya". (I had seen Mridula when she was in class 9. It was love at first sight). He also revealed that he is someone who does not believe in giving flowers but believes in having a mental connection.

The 'Family Man' star is happily married to Shabana Raza and the pair have a pretty daughter named Ava. When the 'Killer Soup' actor was asked during the promotion of the film if his family had disapproved of his relationship as he was marrying someone from a different faith, he had an interesting response. “There were no problems, because my parents were broad-minded and her parents were broad-minded too.
