Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan have been married for more than five decades. They are considered to be the ultimate power couple of Bollywood. It was in 1973 that they exchanged wedding vows.

Not many people are aware, though, that Twinkle Khanna and Aishwarya Rai were first considered for Rani's Tina Malhotra role. Karan had disclosed that Tina's persona drew inspiration from his childhood friend Twinkle. The director then shared the role with Aishwarya, who was relatively fresh to Bollywood at the time, after Twinkle declined the role.

In an interview with the well-known news site, Parashar says he's always thought Bachchan was a little bit 'odd'. He even desired to discuss this while they were working on the 1984 movie Sharaabi, but for some reason, they were unable to have that conversation.

Earlier, Bachchan bought the plot in The Sarayu, a 7-star mixed-use enclave in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, which is also owned by The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) for Rs 14.5 crore. The developer claims that it is a 15-minute drive from the temple. By March 2028, the project should be finished and a five-star palace hotel built.
