MUMBAI: Actress Mouli Ganguly, who will be soon seen in the upcoming show ‘Janani AI ki Kahani’ is known for her incredible contribution to the television industry. She is most known for her roles in ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’, ‘Kutumb’ among others. 

The show is a fresh take on how women handle pressures at home and in the world, the journey of a single mom, and a refreshing storyline.

In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Mouli spilled beans about her show and her being linked to another talented actress who has been winning hearts with her performance on television. We are talking about Rupali Ganguly.

Mouli shared, “I am really happy for her. After a point of time actors get typecast and stop getting the desired roles. So it is really good to see her doing something unique. Especially for women, it is difficult. By this I mean, that getting a show may be easier but the kind of roles we want is difficult. Rupali has made a beautiful comeback and I may not be able to act out like her because this show has a different concept.”

When asked about being compared to her as Rupali Ganguly’s sister, Mouli expressed, “There are lots of people who speculated that we are sisters. Since we have been in this industry for a long time, at one point of time Rupali had told me that just admit it once and for all that we are siblings. But in actuality we are not genetically connected.”
