After doing a positive role in Jeevan Sathi – Bandhan Saat Janmo Ka , Saillesh Gulabani is back to what he is best at. The actor is entering Aroona Irani’s supernatural thriller Naaginn in a negative role. And along with him is entering the beautiful actress Chhavi Mittal . In the recent past the actress has only been seen doing cameo roles. First it was Teen Bahuraaniyaan, then Grihasthi and now Naaginn.

Oman’s Asma Rafi has won Indian hearts with her impish sense of humour but that wasn’t enough for her to progress in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009. The bubbly Omani has been eliminated from the show.
A reliable source from the sets informs, “For far too long, Asma’s theatrics has overshadowed her singing but this time the public didn’t come to her help. All the mentors too felt her performance wasn’t again to the mark.”
Whilst its euphoria for some its despair for a few. The chosen few at the 8th Indian Telly Awards are ecstatic with joy at having won the most honest awards. As we congratulate the winners we do feel for those who were nominated but didn’t make it. Good work is always rewarded and so we say to them, don’t lose heart. There is always next year.

In the world of Indian television, if there is any couple other than Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan who are always in the news, it is Hussain and Tina. Ever since they won Nach Baliye2 though they have not been seen together in any other shows they have always managed to stay in the public eye. Tina Kuwajerwala has recently been in the limelight for revamping Hussain's looks in Indian Idol and Kumkum. She spoke to Tellychakkar on her life, career plans and Hussain.

All Kaante Ki Takkar viewers are now familiar with the very talented and humorous host Purbi Joshi. She is indeed a great mimic and host and her witty one-liners keep everyone in splits. But this time while the pretty Purbi was busy rehearsing her lines suddenly a loud voice disturbed her. "Main tumhari naukari lene aa gayi hoon," said the host of Comedy Circus, Shruti Seth.

Monica Mogre, one of the many new shows waiting in the wings, is all set to launch in January on Zee TV. This weekend show will air on Saturday and Sunday at 8.00 pm.
“Our show will launch in January. Beyond this I’m not allowed to reveal anything. You will have to speak to the channel for the rest,” says Monica Mogre’s producer Yash Patnaik.
An actor requesting anonymity told us that the show is slated to launch on January 10 at 8.00 pm. Zee TV business head Tarun Mehra then confirmed to us that show will indeed launch at the above mentioned date and time slot.
Since Shakeel is no longer a part of the show that was earlier titled Shakeel Made In China, the title has now been changed. The show will now be called Comedy Circus - Chinchpokli to China. Not just the title but the format and launch date are also going in for a change. The format will see some major changes since Shakeel was earlier supposed to be the main element in the format.
