She started off her career as a model.She made her debut with 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein' in 2001.She won Femina Miss India Asia Pacific 2000 and Miss Asia Pacific 2000. She also appeared in a number of fims like like 'Dum', 'Deewanapan', 'Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge', 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha - A Love Story', 'Parineeta', 'Dus', 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' etc. She failed to make it big as an actress but has been appreciated fro all her social inititaives. She is an ardent member and supporter of campaigns on prevention of female feticide, HIV awareness, the Cancer Patients Aid Association, PETA, ADAPT, CRY. Ske also owns her own Production house called Born Free Entertainment which produced her movie Love,Breakups Zindagi.She still continues to charm the audience wit her style diva dressing sense and her philanthropic work.
