Harshad Chopra was born and brought up in Gondia district of Maharashtra. His family moved to Pune after he completed his class 12 exams. Harshad's parents never approved of his celluloid dreams so they enrolled him into an engineering college. But, Post his studies, Harshad moved to Bombay where he auditioned for Mamta and also bagged the show. This is when his journey as actor Harshad Chopra.
