Karan Grover is very popularly known as ""KayJee"" in his circles and the industry. Raised in Mumbai, Karan V Grover stays with his parents and a younger brother. He did chemical engineering from the Institute of Technology, Mumbai and Event Management course from NIEM (National Institute of Event Management). He has also worked with Omang Kumar's Event management company for a year. As a participant in Mr. India 2004, he was selected amongst the top five finalists. And it was after that show Karan found his first job as a VJ with ZEE music, he realised that not only he wanted to be an actor but also loved being a VJ/Anchor, after hosting various shows for zee music, interviewing some of the biggest names in the film industry, Kay Jee felt the need of making his attempts towards acting, and that's when he started auditioning and landed up with his first break on Star plus on a show called Saarthi.
