Urvashi Dholakia is an Indian television actress, who is best known for portraying the role of antagonist Komolika in Ekta Kapoor's Indian soap opera Kasautii Zindagii Kay on Star Plus, which ran from 2001 to 2008. Urvashi is half-Punjabi, half-Gujarati by birth. She got married at age 16, had twin boys at age 17, and was divorced one-and-a-half years later; her children are studying in a boarding school. She also holds a diploma in Bharat Natyam dance from Nalanda University. Urvashi first acted in TV commercial of Lux soap with actress Revathi at age six. She made her television acting debut, at age eight with the Shri Adhikari Brothers' (SAB), Waqt Ki Raftar, and other TV series and a few movies as a child actor. Though she really started acting after her first major appearance, as actor Vishal Singh's teenage love interest in comedy-TV series, Dekh Bhai Dekh (1993) at age 18, and she has been acting ever since.
