MUMBAI: One of the most awaited and talked about movies of Farhan Akhtar is his sports drama, Toofan. Ever since it was announced and the look was out, fans all over were eagerly waiting for the movie, as the actor has raised the bar after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. His fans are eagerly waiting to see him define his versatility on the screen once again.
The movie was all set to release on 18 Sept 2020, but due to the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown, it got delayed. Now, TellyChakkar is the first to report that Toofan will have an OTT release. Yes, you heard it right. Toofan will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

This will be the second big-banner Bollywood movie after Coolie No 1 that will release on Amazon Prime. Well, the release date is still to be announced, and we look forward to that.
Toofan is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and has Farhan Akhtar as a national-level boxer, alongside Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal in important supporting roles. Filming commenced in Dongri on 26 August 2019 and was completed in March 2020.
