Hansal Mehta's Scam 1992 which starred Pratik Gandhi in the lead role became a huge hit among the fans.
The series aired on Sony LIV app and it was widely appreciated by the viewers.
And now, after almost a gap of a year or more, the popular director is all set to be back with yet another series based on true events.
Hansal Mehta is currently making the series on Telgi Scam.
The series is titled Scam 2003: The Telgi Story.

The series chronicles the life of Abdul Karim Telgi, a fruit-seller born in Khanapur in Karnataka, and his journey to becoming the mastermind behind one of the most ingenious scams in India. The scam, spread across multiple states, shook the entire country.
And now, we have an exclusive update that actor Kaushik Chakravorty is roped in for the series.
The actor was previously seen playing the role of Dr. Pranab Chakraborty, Chief Cardiac Surgeon of Ferdoon Meherzad Sheriar Hospital in Sony TV's show Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii.
Nothing much is known about Kaushik's character yet.
But we are super excited to see the actor in the series.
Hansal Mehta had posted the picture of a clapboard as the cast kickstarted the shooting.
