Amrita Khanvilkar says that it has been a great journey. She has performed different characters in different projects. She always gives her best shot in every project. She adds that coming into the acting world was unplanned, but now, she is looking forward to doing different types of characters.

Amruta Khanvilkar says she would definitely love to be a part of an action film. She is looking forward to playing a dark character on screen or even a domestic character, similar to that in the movie The Great Indian Kitchen. She would want to explore the Indianness and the culture of the country with her character.

The actress is now set to be seen in the upcoming movie Chandramukhi. Amruta Khanvilkar says this movie is about a dancer who is trying to revive a dying art form, with the backdrop of a love story. Will the dream of saving the art form be complete or not is amazingly depicted in the movie.
