MUMBAI: Tellychakkar is back with yet another update for our avid readers.

Endemol Shine India, which recently created magic with Bombay Begums, has announced a new project. The team will be creating a web series based on Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy’s book Trial By Fire: The Tragic Tale of the Uphaar Fire Tragedy. The book has been written by Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy who fought for justice for 19 years for their children, Unnati and Ujjwal, who were amongst the 59 people killed in the incident.

The series will be helmed by Prashant Nair who recently directed ‘Made in Heaven’. Mumbai-based company- The Story Ink put together the project and its founder Sidharth Jain will be a producer on the series.

We earlier updated that, Pataal Lok fame Lokesh Aggarwal has been roped in a pivotal role for the series. Further details about his character are yet to be disclosed. The show has Abhay Deol and Shilpa Shukla in lead roles. Now the exclusive news is that Anupam Kher and Ratna Pathak Shah will be seen in pivotal roles in the show. The details about their characters aren't unfolded yet.
