Tell us something about the upcoming project Soch.

Soch is a very simple story about our new generation and society. It’s about Malvika, a working independent girl. Malvika’s character is played by Bhumika Gurung! Malvika feels tormented by her father's dominant behaviour toward her mother. However, her perception changes when she confronts her father about the same.

How was it to work with Bhumika Gurung?

Bhumika is a very talented and simple girl. When I met Bhumika for the first time I found her to be very understanding and down-to-earth. When I narrated the story to her, she said yes to this as she felt that this story belongs to every house.

What challenges did you face in putting this project together?

There were many challenges but I remember that we had to finish this film in one day because of Covid 19 protocol. But all the actors performed very well, especially Bhumika supported me a lot during that time.

Well said, Manish!
