Lock upp Season 1: OMG! Munawar Faruqui reveals he is married and has a son, has not living with his family since 1.5 years

MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's reality show titled “Lock Upp” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail, play the game, and fight for getting bail to survive, was launched on MX Player and Alt Balaji. 

The audience has given it a thumbs-up. Kangana Ranaut made her OTT debut with the show as the host. The entire concept is a setup in jail. 

Munawar Faruqui, who is one of the contestants, is emerging as one of the best players and has become the favourite of the  audiences and many celebrities. 

He has been called the mastermind of the show by the inmates and the audiences, as everyone listens to him and does not question him. He has understood the game very well. 

Munawar since day one has been ruling the jail and staying in his limits.

Now, in a shocking turn of events, Munawar’s marriage photos have been circulated on social media. Over the weekend, Kangana asked him about his marriage.

At first, he avoided the question and didn't want to answer it, but when Kangana mentioned the reason for her being in a relationship with a married man and the things she faced, he opened up and confessed about his marriage. 

He said, "Yes, I am married and I have a son. I got married at a very young age. My wife and I haven't stayed together for 1.5 years, and my divorce case is still going on in court. Hence, I didn’t want to do the show." 

He also said that he is doing this show because of his son.  This came as a shock to everyone, especially to Anjali, who had just confessed her feelings to him. 

Well, the audiences were also shocked to know about it and it cleared a stir on social media.
