MUMBAI: ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s Cartel is one of the most awaited web-series. The series has been in the news for a long time now. The project got delayed due to the pandemic. However, the actors now are shooting the remaining portion in Mumbai itself.
Apparently, the series was initially being directed by Pulkit, however due to some difference with Ekta Kapoor it witnessed change in director and the cast. Cartel is now directed by Suyash Vadhavkar and features Rithvik Dhanjani, Tanuj Virwani, Supriya Pathak, Samir Soni, Monica Dogra, amongst others.
As per the latest development, actor Nabeel Ahmed, who has been part of web-series Illegal, The Verdict - State Vs Nanavati and shows like Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara, Udaan, Ekyavan and others, has joined the cast of Cartel.
According to our sources, Nabeel will play a gangster's son named Farhan. However, Nabeel will be away from the world of gangsters and will be an innocent and a simple guy.
There was news about Vivek Oberoi and Kubbra Sait also being a part of the series. However, little we have known that both the actors are apparently no more part of the project.
