MUMBAI: SonyLiv’s Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story was highly appreciated by the fans, the series which was based on the India’s biggest Financial fraud committed by Harshad Mehta back 90’s was love for its amazing screenplay, superb storytelling and some great performances, the show had some amazing talents like, Pratik Gandhi as the protagonist Harshad Mehta, with Shreya Dhanwanthary appearing in a parallel lead role, as Sucheta Dalal. Along with Hemant Kher as Ashwin Mehta.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actor, Hemant Kher who was seen and loved by the fans as Harshad Mehta’s brother, Ashwin Mehta, the actor spilled some beans on how his changed completely after doing web series, Scam, the actor said, he is very much grateful to Hansal Mehta and all his co actors, for making Scam a successful and revealed this series is very much close to his heart and always be.

On asking about the best compliment he received on playing Ashwin Mehta, the actor shared a small incident that, one days he was roaming in his hometown, after the release of the series, one man on scooter came next to him, got down from his vehicle and started touching actor’s feet and said He also wants a brother like Ashwin, the actor shared and said this was the impact of the series and his role all over and this touched his heart so much.

No doubt the impact of the series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story is still very much clear in our minds and we loved the actor as Ashwin Mehta and we look forward to see more of some roles coming from the side of the actor.
