MUMBAI: Director Shyam Kishore Sahu is dedicatedly working on a short film titled Breaks. The story of Breaks will revolve around domestic violence and its impact.

Casting Director turned actor Rudra Dhalaria will play a prominent role in the project. Rudra has cast for many Television shows and has a great understanding of the craft, when contacted, Rudra said, “Since I come from behind the camera background, I have an understanding of the procedures and how to catch the pulse of the character, which I believe have helped me in acting. Talking about Breaks, I was moved by the narrations and immediately grabbed the offer. Can’t wait to start filming the project”.

TellyChakkar.com buzzed Shyam to know more about the project, he said, “The main theme of the project is domestic violence. With Breaks, we trying to portray about how domestic violence can not only affect the victim but also have a great impact on the generations of the family and also on the society. The story of the project will highlight the mental status and problems that people face because of domestic violence. It will be a psychological thriller which will also focus on how domestic violence becomes a societal issue. We are currently in production stage and planning to release the project”.

Breaks will release on a digital platform.
