MUMBAI :2022 has not been a great year for Taapsee Pannu. Her two theatrical releases Shabaash Mithu and Dobaaraa failed to make a mark at the box office and even Looop Lapeta which was an OTT release didn’t get a great response. The actress has a few films lined up and one of them is Blurr which also marks her debut as a producer. 

Today, Taapsee took to Twitter to announce that the film will premiere on Zee5. She tweeted, “There's always more than what meets the eye! #BlurrOnZEE5 premieres 9th December.”

While Taapsee’s fans are excited about the film, a few people on social media are trolling her. A netizen tweeted, “Another flopp is waiting Thank God you have not released in theatre this time to avoid embarrassment You will not laugh this time on common PPL and boycott?” Check out the tweets below…

Blurr is directed by Ajay Bahl, and also stars Gulshan Devaiah in the lead role. The movie is the Hindi remake of the Spanish film Julia's Eyes.

While Blurr is getting an OTT release, everyone is only waiting for Taapsee’s film Dunki which stars Shah Rukh Khan as the male lead. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie is slated to release on Christmas 2023. Apart from Dunki, she also has a movie titled Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan lined up. 

Recently, there were reports that Taapsee will be teaming up with Akshay Kumar for a comedy film titled Khel Khel Mein. However, there’s no official announcement about it. Taapsee has earlier worked with Akshay in movies like Baby, Naam Shabana, and Mission Mangal.
