MUMBAI: Ever since the trailer of the show “The Married Woman” was out, the fans all over were looking forward to the show, and why not? the show promises a fine story with great performances, The Married Woman which speaks about the journey of married women seeking happiness and looking for themselves, the series is the adaptation of the acclaimed book by Manju Kapur. The show features Ridhi Dogra and Monica Dogra as the lead characters. The cast includes Imaad Shah, Ayesha Raza, Rahul Vohra, Divya Seth Shah, Nadira Babbar and Suhaas Ahuja, among others. The story speaks about a Married woman Astha played by Ridhi Dogra, who is very much into her marriage life, who is a perfect wife, perfect mom and perfect daughter to her in-laws too, but in this journey of her marriage life, Astha has forgotten who she is, and what’s her identity and who unintentionally forgot what’s her happiness is, and how her life changes after meeting Peeplika, played by Monica Dogra is something interesting to see.The screenplay of the 11 episodic series is very well written, the show keeps you hooked and booked till the last scene, and the storytelling is at slow pace but beautifully done.Talking about the performances, then we won’t be wrong in saying that performances are one of the USP of the shows Ridhi Dogra as Astha is brilliant and played one of her best in the show, on other hand Monica Dogra as Peeplika will make you fall in love with her character, Suhaas Ahuja will surely leave you with a sweet smile on your face with his role, also Imaad Shah, Ayesha Raza, Rahul Vohra, Divya Seth Shah, Nadira Babbar were decent on their part.ALSO READ – (Upcoming Web series ‘Tandoor’ presents Rashami Desai, in a never seen before avatar, is all set to give a spine chilling experience)The positive points of the show can be the storytelling and the concept, the concept of seeing the love beyond caste, religion, and gender is very well portrayed in the show, also the storytelling is too good of the show, adding further we would like to put special mention to all the performances of the show, especially, Ridhi Dogra and Monica Dogra, Suhaas Ahuja are treated to watch. The negative points of the show can be that the show gets dropped little in between and looks dragged and the pace in between is a little slow, but great performances and superb storytelling will never allow your interest level down.Overall the show “The Married Woman” is a show which celebrates love beyond all man-made borders and can add to your binge list.Team TellyChakkar goes with 3.5 stars for “The Married Woman”For more Digital and Bollywood updates, stay tuned to TellyChakkar.ALSO READ – (Ridhi Dogra: The country feels uncomfortable about a lot of things)
