MUMBAI: Pooja Bhatt is a well known actress and filmmaker of Bollywood. She was at the top of her game in the 90’s with films like Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Sadak, Border, and many more. She recently made headlines for her stint on Bigg Boss OTT 2. Her friendship with Bebika Dhurve was much spoken about and so was her clash with Jia Shankar. Pooja’s father who entered the reality show house to show his support to his daughter was much spoken about after his interaction with some of the housemates.

During a recent interview Pooja Bhatt has reacted to what she calls ‘Idiotic’ rumors that claim Alia Bhatt is her and Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter. The 51 year old Bombay Begums actress said, “So now how do you counteract that? Us cheez ko dignity bhi de sakte hein respond kar ke? It's absurd.”
Pooja had previously addressed this rumor during Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan.
Mahesh Bhatt married Lorraine Bright, in 1970. She changed her name to Kiran Bhatt after marriage. The couple have two children Pooja and Rahul.
