MUMBAI: Neena Gupta has been in the entertainment industry for more than 40 decades. She has been a part of many TV shows and films, and now, she is also making a mark on OTT.

The actress will next be seen in Lust Stories 2 which is slated to premiere on Netflix on 29th June 2023. Recently, during an interview, Neena Gupta opened up about her first kissing scene.

She stated, “Many years ago, I had a scene with Dilip Dhawan, in which for the first time on TV there was a lip to lip kissing scene. I couldn’t sleep the whole night thinking how I would do a kissing scene, and then I told myself that ‘you are an actor and you have to do it’. As soon as the scene got over, I went and gargled with Dettol.”

When her co-star Angad Bedi reacted and asked, “Really?” She added, “Yes, because it was difficult for me to kiss somebody whom I don’t know.”

Talking about Lust Stories 2, the anthology is directed by four directors, R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh. It also stars Kajol, Tamannaah Bhatia, Mrunal Thakur, Kumud Mishra, Amruta Subhash, Tillotama Shome, Vijay Varma and others.

Neena Gupta started her second innings in the industry with Badhaai Ho. The film did a great business at the box office, and after that the actress has been doing some really good movies.
