The popular show Saath Nbhana Saathiya has given much prominence to its lead character Gopi who plays the perfect Indian bahu in the serial. And the actresses who have played the role also got immense popularity from the earlier Giaa Manek to the current Devoleena Bhattacharya.

But interestingly Adaa Khan was initially finalised to play the role. The actress had shot with the team for the pilot and promo but was replaced by Giaa as per character demands.
