MUMBAI: The 'Kaanta Laga' fame of the early '00s, Shefali Jariwala is an Indian actress and the Indian showbiz industry's popular figure.
She has appeared in several Hindi music videos, reality shows and a Kannada film.
However, she gained massive popularity nationwide post-featuring as an item girl in the famous music video 'Kaanta Laga' of 2002. This song became an instant hit number for it's peppy beats and sensuous lyrics back then and was played almost in any and every social gatherings. Due to the popularity of the song, she became known as 'The Thong Girl'.
After 'Kaanta Laga', she also appeared on few other music albums. For the unversed, Shefali was still a college student back then and was pursuing IT and after featuring in 'Kaanta Laga', she preferred being a part of this industry rather than the IT field.
In 2005, Shefali graduated with a bachelor's degree in Information technology from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
In the very tender phase of her life, she got married to the Bollywood musician and one of the famous Meet Brothers (Meet Bros. as they are referred to in the present) - Harmeet Singh, in 2004. Years later, the couple splitted apart on ugly terms in 2009 with Shefali accusing some strong charges against Harmeet.
Shefali had also debuted on the silver-screen with her brief cameo role in the movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi starring actors Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan. In 2011, she again did a cameo role on the silver screen for the Kannada movie Hudugaru and played the role of 'Pankaja'.
After a while, the actress started dating actor Parag Tyagi, with whom she had participated in the reality dance competition Nach Baliye 5 in 2012.
Two years later, she got hitched to the actor in 2014 and the couple returned as participants to Nach Baliye 7 in 2015.
In 2019, she participated in Salman Khan's hosted reality show Bigg Boss 13, but eventually got evicted from the same.

Coming to the present times, Shefali is very active on her social media handles (especially on Instagram) and she keeps uploading her beautiful and wholesome pics on her wall. To note, some of her pics are 'too-hot-to-handle'!
