MUMBAI: The explosion of the coronavirus pandemic has made many changes in our day-to-day life. It's like we are living in a freeze-frame. Rules of living have changed from food to clothing; nothing seems like before. Clothing trends for this Spring continue to be part of current fashion catalogues, but, we are unsure whether those designs will be made. The fashion trends that made it to the runway were Bermuda shorts, crochet dresses and waistcoats. The pandemic has eclipsed all our party plans. Still, we can't stop thinking about clothes. Of course, now we have to navigate with an entirely different set of rules when it comes to dressing up or slightly dressing down, I must say.

Looking scruffy is more acceptable now. Celebrities were never more comfortable with their home clothes than now. They have earned more thumbs up and likes from their fans than ever before. Why not? As they are showing their natural self and opening their real lifestyle to their fans. For instance: A celebrity would be heavily trolled for stepping out for grocery shopping all decked up, but will be rewarded with likes when stepped out looking scruffy.

Leaving the house wearing anything that suggests cool or glamour is now considered to be suspicious. However, makeup and heels were permissible during the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcements about lighting diyas and clapping for frontline fighters. As that dressing resonates with our country's positive spirit, and celebrities are allowed to take that leeway.

But when it comes to home dressing- shorts and knobbly-kneed silhouetted track pants are very popular with actors. Also, floral dresses have gained popularity amongst many actresses as it gives a breezy vibe. Take a pictorial peep at the burgeoning lockdown fashion trends:
