MUMBAI: The Indian film and entertainment industry is one of the high-value holders in the whole world and it's ever-increasing international popularity has become more evident with each and every passing day (thanks to the various social media platforms).
This one mammoth entertainment zone never ceases to amaze us and entertain us with it's utmost potential. Both the film and television industries have contributed to the country's never-ending entertainment prosperity through amazing films and TV series from various genres over these last two decades; such that their contributions right now simply stand uncountable, with consecutive gems being released month after month. And now, even the OTT platforms have joined the prestigious race by delivering fine work reflecting sheer excellence.
Hence, it's inevitable for great work to go unnoticed, even by one of the most prestigious film committees in the world, which is that of Cannes, which hosts the world-renowned and the most prestigious Festival de Cannes (Cannes Film Festival) on an annual basis. This committee is in charge of selecting the best fictional and non-fictional works throughout the globe and then displaying the same on their silver screen right at the time of their annual event/ festival.
However, the most honoured have been the ones who got their 'once-in-a-lifetime' golden ticket to attend this ceremony in person. Some (especially movie stars) even had the platinum luck of attending the same more than once in their single lifetime. This calls for great hype as these personnels are the most-desired personalities of their respective nations, almost like the worthiest of all 'brand ambassador(s)'.
With the top-tier movie stars from Bollywood, Hollywood and all other film industries from around the globe attending the Cannes Film Festival as a mandatory annual pilgrimage, a few of our beloved telly stars also created their own fortune of grabbing this prestigious chance of attending this prestigious ceremony through their noticeable hard toiling.
Four of our popular telly fames - Hina Khan, Kashmera Shah, Saumya Tandon and lastly, Avika Gor; got to claim their golden ticket to attend the Cannes Film Festival for their fabulous contributions to the Indian entertainment industry.
