MUMBAI: Telly actress Karishma is a popular Indian actress, model and anchor, who's a prominent figure in the Hindi entertainment industry for working in Hindi films and television shows. She debuted on the small-screen with the extremely hit TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2001, which was helmed by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms. After a hiatus, she re-appeared on the small-screen and gained even more popularity with shows like Baalveer, Qayamat Ki Raat, Naagin 3, among many others.

Other than that, Karishma made her first-ever film debut as Nandini Thapar in the Bollywood movie Dosti: Friends Forever (2006). In 2013, she was seen in the hit comedy movie Grand Masti. However, it was in 2018 when Karishma got a stupendous reaction from the audience for her brief yet special cameo as Pinky in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju, which was the biopic of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and was helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Karishma has also participated in many popular reality shows. She was the first runner-up in the reality show Bigg Boss 8 in 2014. She had also appeared in many dance reality shows like Zara Nachke Dikha (2008), Nach Baliye (2015) and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (2016). In 2020, she had participated in the extreme reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 and emerged as it's winner.
