MUMBAI: Rishikesh is the yoga capital of the world!

Being the most tranquil place in northern Uttarakhand, surrounded by hills and bisected by the wide and sluggish Ganges, it is a backpacker’s paradise. From spirituality to religion, food, and, above all, its secret beaches, Rishikesh is a must-visit place on most of our bucket lists.

Recently, Ishqbaaaz actor Nakuul Mehta made a short tour to Rishikesh, taking a break from his daily shoot schedule, and celebrated his anniversary with his wife in the peaceful and scenic location. He took to Instagram to post wonderful messages for his wife along with some amazing pictures from his tour.

KUMBHKARAN 2.0 Growing up my greatest gift has been that I could snooze anywhere & anytime. In classes, movies, parties, travels, dinner's, lunches, weddings, dates, toilets .. Thank you for yesterday. It was so overwhelmingly beautiful yet so regular and I realised that's exactly what I'd like each day of my life to be. Can't thank you enough for your heartfelt messages, mails, tweets, videos, posts, cakes! I did wake up to a whole lot of them this morning. Wish I could write back to each of you or even better meet in person and exchange hugs but until that happens, just wanted to say, THANK YOU! One of my determinations this year has been to spend more time 'being' in the moment than being on social media unless I have anything to contribute. I am glad I could do that yesterday. Can't remember using my camera at all. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaas!! Not to say, I will hold back occassional days of being extravagant and spending time hanging with you guys online, but the idea is to be 'fully' where one is at that moment. . Thank you for being my partner's & A team in the continued goal of being on the journey of becoming the BEST version of ourselves. Let's continue to expand our lives & BE 'more' than just our careers, our marksheets & our instagram filtered pictures.
