Aamir Kha rung his 50th birthday in style far away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai. The venue chosen is the serene Hilton Shillim near Lonavala. While birthday of Aamir post his superstardom are lavish celebratory affairs, Faisal says for his family celebrating Aamir's birthday has been an emotional affair.

Says Faisal, "For me, to be with Aamir on his birthday is more emotional than anything else. We all are looking forward to the party that is being held at Hotel Shillim. In earlier days, Aamir's birthday only used to have family and friends. But now it's more of business associates while old friends are married and settled elsewhere or working."

Recalling the childhood birthdays, Faisal reminiscences, "In childhood, Aamir's birthday used to be celebrated with building friends. We all used to put balloons ourselves and we loved doing that. Our mother used to make a special cake on each of our birthdays."

While Aamir is certain to be showered with a lot of gifts tomorrow, Faisal too has a secret gift of his own for his brother. "By the grace of God, Aamir has everything that a person could desire for at 50. But still I will give him a surprise gift because that is the emotional bond I share with him."
