MUMBAI: For long, it is being speculated that Mouni Roy is in love with a Dubai-based banker named Suraj Nambiar. Though she hasn't quite opened up about her personal life in media, her frequent visits to Dubai have added fuel to the fire. 

Now, if the latest reports are anything to go by, Mouni Roy's mother met her rumoured boyfriend Suraj Nambiar's parents at close friend Mandira Bedi's residence and that has paved way to the stories of their wedding.

As per a report, Mouni's mother met Suraj's parents and everything went 'smoothly'. 

There may be a wedding on cards soon and her brother was also a part of this meeting, said the report. 

Earlier, Mouni had reportedly shared a picture with Suraj's parents on social media addressing them as Mom and Dad.

Although, in one of the earlier interview, she had also dismissed the stories of dating anyone when the rumours of her being in a relationship with Ayan Mukerji had hit headlines. 

She was quoted saying," People who matter know I'm single and it's not about the shortage of time because you can compartmentalise your life. But I need to meet the right person, I can't just pick someone and start dating. At the moment I'm grateful for this window (movies) that has opened in my life. I don't think I should throw it away by not giving my 100 percent to it.".

On the work front, Mouni Roy will be seen in Brahmastra along with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna.
