MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar, who was last seen in Housefull 4, is all praises for Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala. 

The actor, Twinkle Khanna, daughter Nitara and mother were papped in the city yesterday as the family headed to the theatres to watch Bala. Prior to heading out to watch the film, Akshay took to twitter to express a sense of excitement to watch the film as he wrote, “This Bala is heading out to watch the newest #Bala, @ayushmannk ! Congratulations hearing great things about the movie.”

After the film, he made sure to take to social media to congratulate Ayushmann Khurrana for the film and gleefully pass on the baton of the original Bala to Ayushmann as he wrote, “Just finished watching the film and with all due respect I’d want to pass on the crown You guys have a winner!” Ayushmann replied to Akshay and thanked him as he wrote, “As soon as Akshay tweeted that he's going to watch Bala, Ayushmann was over the moon and he replied to AK as he wrote, “Akshay paaji thanks for being an inspiration. Hail the real king #Bala thank you!” As soon as Akshay Kumar kick-started the Bala challenge for his film Housefull 4, Ayushmann Khurrana was the first actor to take up the challenge as he recreated the hook step of the song on social media in his ‘Bala’ look.
