MUMBAI: Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 on July 11 and informed fans about being admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital. As Amitabh Bachchan is keeping fans updated through his social media posts, tweets and blogs, the actor recently penned down an open letter to trolls in his blog from July 27 who wished his death after he tested positive for COVID-19. It was soon later that the Gulabo Sitabo actor made a tweet talking about how being a naive person does not work in this world. Now, this time, Big B tweets a quote about great and small minds.

On Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan shared a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt and made a tweet taking a dig at trolls on social media. The veteran actor tweeted, “T 3610 - “Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.” -Eleanor Roosevelt.”

The quote by Eleanor Roosevelt talks about great minds and small minds. In the tweet made by Amitabh Bachchan, the quote speaks of how great minds discuss ideas. The quote then mentions that while great minds discuss ideas, there are average minds who discuss events. Finally, while great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss the events happening around, it’s small minds who discuss people and talk about them.

Meanwhile, as the Gulabo Sitabo took a dig at trolls talking about how small minds discuss people, in his open letter from July 27, Amitabh Bachchan wrote back to the trolls with a befitting response, who wished his death.
