Ranveer Singh's admiration for Anushka Sharma still remains intact. Once rumoured lovers, Ranveer and Anushka continue to remain professional pals after having moved on in their respective personal lives, the former with Deepika Padukone and the latter with Virat Kohli. But that hasn't stopped both from admiring each other’s work ethics. At least Ranveer was quite outspoken and frank in his opinions when asked about Anushka. “Anushka is absolutely incredible. She taught me a lot when I knew absolutely nothing. I was an Assistant Director(AD) for a year and a half but because I was so junior and at the bottom of the ladder I never used to be in the thick of things. I used to be nowhere near the camera as I used to do more of crowd controlling and other menial jobs. So despite being an AD for a long time, I never had any onset experience really of the camera dynamics and other things. Anushka who is senior to me was there while I was learning and she taught me all these things." Continuing in the same vein, Ranveer opened his heart about Anushka's acting prowess which he finds the most impressive. Said Ranveer, "What is amazing is that I manage to learn so much from her by observing her performances. I aspire to be like. Another quality of Anushka which I find incredible is her ability to glow freely in front of the camera. It was present right from her debut movie and all the more today when she has definitely grown as an actor." Ranveer also admitted the Anushka is amongst his all time favorite actors and it is her movie he is most looking forward to. "Anushka is definitely amongst my fav actors. I find her extremely watchful and I am looking forward to her movie more than anyone else be it Dil Dhadakne Do, PK, NH 10 or Bombay Velvet. I am really happy for her.
