MUMBAI: The SSR case is one of the most talked-about and controversial cases in the country, and with three agencies investigating it, there is still no lead.

It has been almost seven months since the CBI took over the case, but there hasn’t been any progress. People across the globe have been wondering why the CBI is quiet.

They are also worried about why all media channels have stopped covering the case and are wondering who all are behind this massive whodunnit!

While investigating the case, drug exposure in Bollywood was busted and many big Bollywood names had come out.

Bollywood stars like Sharddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone were interrogated by NCB.

Now, in a major development in the case, his roommate Siddarth Pithani has been arrested on 26th May by NCB for the supply of drugs.

He was picked up from Hyderabad and brought to Mumbai where his interrogation is on.

Through his phone records that were with the CBI, the NCB traced his link to the drug case, and it is being said that he was running a drug racket.

Right now, not much detail is out about the interrogation but this is the third person who was extremely close to SSR and has been arrested in the drug case.

Earlier to this his girlfriend Rhea, her brother Showik, and house help Miranda was arrested by NCB and are out of bail currently.

Well, earlier he was quizzed by the CBI in the SSR case as he was present in the house when the tragic incident took place.

This is a big development in the case and we hope the NCB will be releasing a statement soon.
