During an interview recently, the actress was asked about the last time she received a direct message from a celebrity that had her in disbelief. 

The Majili star went on to name Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. She opened up about an incident when Anushka Sharma left her in shock. 

Speaking with a news portal, the actress shared, “I felt that when Anushka Sharma reacted to one of my stories. It was like, ‘wait, what?’.”.

Samantha went on to heap praise for Anushka Sharma’s social media presence. She spoke about how her content on the internet is empowering. Samantha said that Sharma’s content makes one feel happy inside. 

“I think Anushka Sharma posts really valuable engagements. I just feel like her Instagram page really empowers and makes you feel happy inside. Yeah, so I like Anushka Sharma’s social media.”, Samantha Akkineni said.

It was recently when Samantha made it to the headlines after she dropped the ‘Akkineni’ surname from her social media handles. Fans and social media users started speculating about trouble in marriage between her husband, actor Naga Chaitanya and her. 

Meanwhile, the actress penned the sweetest birthday wish for her father-in-law. She took to Twitter to wish South superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna Rao.
