MUMBAI: Bollywood has given us several hits and flops, we have seen many movies ruling the hearts and minds of the fans over the time, movies like, DDLJ, Sholay, Mughal E Azam and few more are the piece of art which we cannot forget and this will remain in our hearts and minds forever.

Having said that, we have also seen many Bollywood movies which are made up to mark and the fans and the audiences didn’t like the movie for few reasons, well the movie getting flopped and disliked by the fans can also be because of the Miscasting or the wrong casting done by the makers of the films.

So here are few Bollywood movies which were failed due to wrong casting:

Shraddha Kapoor – Haseena Parker

Starring Shraddha Kapoor a movie based on the underworld insides was the biopic made on Haseena Parker, when the look of actress was out as Haseena Parker, it looked quite promising but when the trailer and the movie were out, the audiences disliked the actress I the movie and in the role of Haseena Parker and said she was nowhere looking close to Haseena, and hence, the movie was badly rejected.

Salman Khan – Tubelight

Fans always wanted to see Salman Khan in strong and powerful roles like Dabangg, Wanted, Sultan, and few others, but in the movie Tubelight, the actor’s role was very weak, said the fans and they did not like the movie of Bhaijaan.

Akshay Kumar – Action Replayy

Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai starrer Action Replayy is also one of the examples wrong casting when the trailer of the movie was out, fan thought they would see some colorful love story in a new and different form, but upon the release of the film, the fans did not like the actor’s look and said they did not like the actor wearing heavy makeup and fake teeth as well. During the promotion events, Akshay showed his disappointment and also mentioned that he was not the appropriate choice for the role. The movie became a disaster at the box office. 

Ranbir Kapoor - Bombay Velvet

One of the versatile actors of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor, was also disliked a few times for his movie choices and one of such movies is Bombay Velvet, the actor accepted that the script of the movie was very weak and also said that he shouldn’t be part of Bombay Velvet. The movie was a disaster at the Box office

Well these were the few actors who were misfit for the role they played in their movies, well few other names for the wrong casting can be, Abhishek Bachchan for Drona, Ajay Devgn for Rascals, Imran Khan for Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola, Saif Ali Khan for Humshakals.
