MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone will soon be seen in Chhapaak, which is directed by Meghna Gulzar and based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. It will release in the theatres on 10th January 2020.

Deepika was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat with Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Now, Chhapaak marks her debut as a producer. The actress has shared three posts on her Instagram account unveiling about the trailer. While the first and the third post is just blank with a black background, the second post shows some splashes of water in the black background and then there comes ‘Trailer Out Tomorrow’, written on it.
