Dancing to Helen's Mehbooba in Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami was the toughest - Neha Dhupia

Neha Dhupia
Ghoor Ghoor Ke from Ekkes Toppon Ki Salaami could rightly be called the mother of all item numbers. From Helen's pelvic thrusts in Mehbooba, Zeenat Aman's sari act in Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Madhuri's sensuous Choli ke peeche to Aishwarya Rai's classy Kajra Re, Ghoor Ghoor ke will offer you a good glimpse into the days of an era gone by. And the actress paying tribute to all yesteryear divas happens to be none other than the uber sexy Neha Dhupia who plays a seductress named Jaya Prabha in the movie . For the first time in her career, Neha has grooved to item numbers made famous by the legendary actresses of Bollywood. Says Neha, "The song plays out as the fantasy of the Chief Minister in the movie who fantasizes about Aishwarya, Madhuri, Dimple, Zeenat and others. So I play out this fantasy. In all I have paid tribute to seven actresses and it was a very difficult job." On a personal level, it's Helen's Mehbooba act that Neha found the most difficult to reprise. "Helenji's Mehbooba was the toughest for me. Before shooting for the song, I had watched the video and it kept on playing in my mind. To imitate Helenji's graceful moves was difficult and I am nervous that comparisons would happen," avers Neha. Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami is an upcoming comedy/satire produced by Abhinav & Anurradha Shukla directed by Ravindra Gautam under the banner of Nautanki Films. Starring Divyendu Sharma as the Anupam Kher, Neha Dhupia Manu Rishi and Aditi Sharma, it is a tale of a son's struggle to bring back the honour that his father was unfairly ripped off. ‘Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami' is set to release all across the nation on 10 October, 2014.
