MUMBAI: With summer right around the corner, style divas across the country are on the lookout for inspiration to glam up their looks for the season.  And Katrina Kaif is all set to be the country’s celebrity guide this summer.

Bollywood superstar and global fashion icon, Katrina Kaif has time and again wowed audiences across the world with her style statements. Each look she dons, whether it is on screen or off screen   finds itself trending on social media. The actress’s looks for the recently launched TVC for beverage brand Slice was no different and left her fans in awe.

The ever-beautiful actress who is also the brand ambassador of Slice is seen donning 2 completely distinct looks in the new campaign. From vintage inspired polka dot attire to contemporary red-carpet glam, Katrina serves smoking hot looks in the TVC. And with that being said, we are breaking down her looks for you.

Talking about her look in the TVC, actress Katrina Kaif says, “My association with Slice goes back more than a decade and I'm looking forward for the audience to enjoy the new TVC as much as I enjoyed shooting it. The TVC is a mix of retro and modern well portrayed by the glamorous outfits I've worn. The bright red lips and the black & white polka dots is a classic retro look which took me back in time and I enjoyed sporting it. While the chic pink outfit was high fashion yet sophisticated with minimal make up, just how I like it."

 Stylist and fashion mogul, Anaita Shroff Adajania says, “Taking inspiration from the 1960s Hollywood glamour, the polka-dot swimsuit is paired with a wrap-around skirt and big block heels with pearl detailing. The look has been accessorized with playful stone embellished cherry drop earrings and a matching hair band to add to the ensemble. The red-carpet look denotes the powerhouse Katrina on a red-carpet with a tiny red dress showcasing her curves and an overdramatic cape as she cascades down the staircase.  We added an exaggerated big cognac color earring to complete the look.”

Katrina also sports 2 high-fashion hairstyles in the TVC. “For her polka dot look, we added humongous volume to the hair around the crown area to give the desired retro look. A base was created at the crown area for extra bounce and her hair was then curled accordingly. The cherry on the cake was a polka-dot hair band which helped us channel old-school vibes. For her red-carpet look, Katrina is seen in an open hairdo with lots and lots of volume. Parted in the middle, we selected strips of her hair are curled from the sides all the way to the back and then tousled with hands. We used some hairspray and teased the hair from roots to ends with a wide tooth comb for added volume and texture.” says Gabriel Georgiou, Katrina’s hairstylist.

Katrina’s makeup for the polka-dot look is classic with glowing skin and a tinge of classic red lips while her red-carpet powerhouse ensemble is paired with smokey eyes and pink lips to top it off.

The new Slice TVC, opens with Katrina relishing the thick, delicious and juicy new Slice. Cut to the next scene, she asks for possible reasons for new Slice being so thick. The film progresses with three different characters sharing their quirky and amusing reasons. Katrina ultimately invokes and engages with consumers by asking them, ‘Slice Itna Thick Kaise’ and finally urging them to try the New Slice.
