MUMBAI: During the quarantine break, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were spending their time at home, in Mumbai, but continued to stay in touch with their parents and close ones. As the actress has been very active on social media, during a Q&A session once, when asked whom would she love to meet first when the lockdown ends, Deepika replied and mentioned she’d meet her parents and sister. Now, as Ranveer and Deepika were clicked at the airport yesterday, a report states that the actress paid a visit to her family before starting with her next project.

According to a report in India.com, Deepika Padukone was eager to meet with her parents and sister Anisha Padukone before starting her next project. The report stated that with Deepika back in the city with hubby Ranveer Singh, the actress will soon start the shooting for her next project. With many celebrities resuming work with all the necessary precautions, Deepika is also ready to start working pretty soon.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were clicked at the airport when they arrived from Bengaluru. The couple made sure they took safety measures and were snapped wearing protective masks at the airport. Deepika and Ranveer were colour-co-ordinated in terms of their outfits. The couple looked cool in their black tee and blue denim with white sneaks casual look.

While the Piku actress finally managed to meet with her family in Bangalore and spend some time with them, Deepika will start work on Shakun Batra’s project next. The film is directed by filmmaker Shakun Batra and will feature the talented actress. Padukone last featured in filmmaker Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, which she also produced.
